The Norwegian organizations participating in the Safe Unlock project have joined forces in a splicing team to test out tomorrow's delivery solutions.
In the period 2020 to 2023, Sintef and major market players will test safe home delivery in the Norwegian market. This is a collaborative project financed and carried out by the consortium partners Keyfree, PostNord, Komplett, PostLogi, Safe4, Nimly, Sintef, Stansefabrikken Home and Parqio.
The Safe Unlock project is financed through self-effort and equipment from the project partners. In addition, the project receives a total support of 11 MNOK from the Research Council through the Pilot-T scheme. The total budget for the project is 30 MNOK.
The investments will help to develop secure solutions for standardised access control to homes, delivery boxes, and alternative delivery locations. This will give the homeowner full control over access codes, time management and registration of incidents for home delivery services such as parcels, food deliveries and access management for tradesmen and healthcare professionals.
Safe Unlock is a 3-year research project that will develop and evaluate a digital ecosystem for the delivery of goods and services. The ecosystem will promote simple, efficient and secure delivery logistics to private homes.
