Safe Unlock is a 3-year research project that will develop and evaluate a digital ecosystem for the delivery of goods and services. The ecosystem will promote simple, efficient and secure delivery logistics to private homes. The solution is user-friendly, time-saving and simple for homeowners who do not have to be at home when the delivery is completed.
In the first phase of the project, APIs (interfaces) will be developed that enable the various partners' systems to "talk to each other" towards a central technology platform. In the next phase, a so-called SDK (Software Development Kit) or a universal toolbox is developed that ensures an open system where all interested players can interact with the Safe Unlock solution.
The homeowner has full control over who comes and goes in the home via the app, and can assign access codes to the home or the delivery box located outside the home.
Involved in the project are major Norwegian and international players in fields like Research, IoT, Security, E-commerce, Logistics, transport and digital locking systems.
